Building Manager

Our client, a property management company with buildings in East Vancouver is currently looking for a temporary Building Manager to assist with their organization on a full-time contract basis. This position would be directly responsible for the smooth and effective operating of their building taking care of general operations, maintenance and administration as needed.


Pay Rate: $18/hour

Start Date: ASAP

Length of Assignment: 2 weeks (could extend longer)


Responsibilities of a Building Manager:

  • Ensure the safety of the building’s occupants and visitors
  • Work with the custodian team to guarantee clean interior and exterior of facility
  • General maintenance and repairs as required - could include:
  • Electrical
  • Plumbing
  • General repairs
  • Janitorial and Landscaping duties
  • Maintain daily administration, written journal and provide building condition reports


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience in basic carpentry, plumbing, drywall repairs, painting, electrical, etc.
  • Fluency in English both verbal and written
  • Background in janitorial work
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Flexible schedule
