Exhibit Services Ambassador (Casual)

The award-winning Vancouver Convention Centre (VCC) is currently in search of an Exhibit Services Ambassador (Casual) to join our team. This role will report directly to the Manager, Exhibits. As part of the Venue Operations team, the Exhibit Services Ambassador will provide daily operations of exhibit services, as we work together to achieve our vision to be the global leader in outstanding venues and events.

  • Ensure a high level of service excellence and Exhibitor Experience by providing information to exhibitors related to VCC Venue operations, event timing & location, shipping detail, parking, and both internal & external service providers.
  • You will assist exhibitors at the service desk during event hours (including evenings and weekends).
  • Process exhibitor orders and payments for exhibitor orders.
  • Audit booth numbers against exhibitor list prior to move-in to identify changes.
  • Using your conflict resolution skills, you will assess, resolve, and escalate exhibitor issues including complex booth requirements.
  • Using your strong interpersonal skills, you will collaborate with VCC staff and suppliers to ensure that exhibitor feedback is shared and that service requests are completed.


  • You will have progressive experience in a customer service position, preferably in the events or hospitality industry.
  • Courses in Business Administration or Event Management are considered an asset.
  • You must be a team player who is able to work collaboratively with various teams across VCC.
  • You will do everything within your role to meet or exceed exhibitor expectations.
  • You will have exceptional communication skills, as you’ll be able to clearly express ideas, thoughts, and concepts verbally and in writing.
  • You must be able to maintain a high level of service excellence in an extremely fast-paced environment.
