Sales Development Representative - Mining

The Mining Sales Development Representative expands TPD’s growth in terms of overall revenue, profitability, and captured market share for the mining industry. The Mining Sales Development Representative communicates pristine product knowledge, assists prospects in identifying major pain points, and aligns TPD as company of choice to remove barriers in workforce and HR functions.  This position is initially designated as a temporary role up to 16 weeks, although there are full-time, long term opportunities for the right candidate.

What you will be doing.

  • Exercising both outbound and inbound sales tactics to identify prospects and nurture them through the sales cycle. other internal sales personnel to warm leads through the sales cycle, leading to top-line sales.
  • You will spend majority of your time on the phone
  • Identify prospect pain points based on activity with inbound marketing strategies and craft a communication plan that leverages this information to present the best solutions 
  • Collaborate at many levels with senior managers
  • Lead generation 

What you bring to the table.

  • Excellent track record of delivering strong results
  • Collaborative team player - works with internal & external stakeholders to achieve results
  • Experience working in a high-pressure environment.
  • Business Minded  - Proactive results driven, meet and exceed targets.  
  • Ability to collaborate on RFI, RFQ & RFP’s
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Agile - Ability to reprioritize based on customer need and urgency
  • Systems & Virtual enablement -  comfortable working with multiple online technologies
  • Post-Secondary Education preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years sales experience, preferably in a B2B environment 
  • Industry experience in mining, mineral excavation and processing, exploration or geology is preferred
