Mailroom Clerk

Our client is a global business process automation leader combining industry-specific and industry-agnostic enterprise software and solutions with decades of experience. They are looking for a full-time Mail Room Clerk to join their operations for their Downtown Vancouver office. 

 

This is an exciting temp-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate!

 

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Mail sorting and delivery, responsible for internal tracking of every package that comes to the firm, and facilitates the delivery of every package to the end recipient
  • Moving around some boxes, shipping labels customer service    
  • Hands-on assistance with staff to get packages ready for shipping and courier pickup
  • Operate the digital printers/copiers with a focus on maximizing throughput.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality on all materials and data systems in accordance with established protocols.
  • Duties include time stamping, opening, reading, sorting, and routing incoming mail; sealing, stamping, and affixing postage to outgoing mail or packages; and keeping necessary records.  

Who you are?

  • Have a positive can do attitude!
  • Must have attention to detail and critically think through and resolve problems
  • Able to maintain a consistent, high level of service
  • Must have ability to multi-task and establish priorities
  • Ability to lift 30-40lbs throughout the shift and be mobile throughout the shift
  • Being tech-savvy would be an asset
  • Interest in gaining a forklift certification
