Housekeeping Supervisor

Our client, a diversified infrastructure network and facilities maintenance group with a strong corporate culture, currently has an opportunity for a Facilities Services Supervisor to join their growing team in Surrey. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, the Facilities Services Supervisor will be responsible to manage and enhance the reputation of the facility services delivered at the job site ensuring the delivery of services to the highest standard.

The Facilities Services Supervisor will ensure the effective delivery of services across the site and coordinate their work to provide exemplary service to the client in accordance with the Services Contract.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • 2-3 years of progressive experience in a supervisory role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate effectively with employees, managers and external stakeholders
  • Outstanding leadership skills and experience working with and leading high performing teams
  • Well developed in problem-solving and have strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work as part of a team, absorb information and learn continuously
  • Post-Secondary Education would be considered an asset
  • Previous trades/service experience considered an asset.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 

  • Assist in producing, monitoring and analysing reports (budgetary, performance and mentoring teams)
  • Supervise, and support both housekeeping and technical staff
  • Ensure the delivery of services in accordance with business systems, such as H&S, quality assurance, environmental management system, financial systems, administration and policies
  • Lead and manage customer contact ensuring the highest impressions of quality, customer care, pro-activity and professionalism to our customer/clients and staff
  • Oversee the quality control of the facility by conducting daily inspections of work performed in the facility, providing and implementing corrective action as required
  • Identify areas of improvement in training, health and safety and any service and processes that can positively impact the business
  • Undertake such other duties appropriate to the level and character of work as may reasonably be required within the Department

 

The shift for this role will be Wednesday to Sunday from 2pm - 11pm.
