TPD is currently accepting applications for AMEs for both contracting and permanent positions across Canada. We are seeking AMEs of all trades (E,S,M) and of all experience levels. TPD works with a wide array of aviation organizations on general maintenance and overhaul projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure policies and procedures laid out in the Company's Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Policy Manual are followed to certify full compliance with the current Canadian Aviation Regulations
Ability to use the correct tools, methods, techniques and equipment required to perform aircraft maintenance
Ensure aircraft is maintained in accordance with all Manufacturers and Company recommendations and regulations
Candidates should be able to read and understand various schematic diagrams for maintenance troubleshooting and be proficient with computers and diagnostic tools
Ensure both the accuracy and traceability of parts that are removed or installed on the aircraft
Ensure that all applicable airworthiness requirements are met
Perform other work assigned in a safe manner
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills
Proven working knowledge with general aircraft repair, fabrication and/or installation
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Restricted Area Identity Card
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restriction
Valid AME license or Certification Authority within the scope of their trade
Ability to travel and work remotely (up to a month)
Necessary AME tools required to perform tasks
