Product Analyst

Lite Link Technologies Inc. (LLT), is a Burnaby based technology company driving to be a disruptive force cross-industry by focusing on innovation and delivery of technical solutions that attack real-world problems.   

Our initial flagship product is 1SHIFT Logistics.  1SHIFT is a logistics platform to connect shippers, trucking companies, truckers, and 3PL (third party logistics companies) via web applications for logistics and dispatch office workers and a mobile application for truckers.  After our initial release, we have a roadmap to evolve functionality in our base platform, integrate other third-party solutions, and develop capabilities to meet industry variations and anchor client requirements.   

Opportunity to join our team:

We are currently looking to add a high caliber Product Analyst to our team building our 1SHIFT Logistics SaaS product following agile delivery methodology.  Our base build is well underway with closed beta trials starting in April and broader roll out by summer.

As a Product Analyst, you would act as a liaison between the product team and the development team, articulating the business requirements as developed by the Product Owner to developers through grooming user stories. You would be the junior team member amongst the Product Owner and three other analysts, working alongside a 3 member UX team and a 6 member QA team.  You would also interact with developers as part of the scrum working in an agile environment within three-week sprints.

  • Interview stakeholders, analyze target user groups and capture the “to-be” state and process improvements
  • Plan, elicit, analyze, document, communicate and manage user stories
  • Plan, elicit, analyze, document, communicate and manage non-functional requirements
  • Review and sign off prototypes built by UX team to ensure they are compliant with story acceptance criteria
  • Participate in developer story grooming to ensure developer stories are aligned with business need
  • Participate in defect triage with QA team to identify the root cause of defects, support defect categorization, and resolve defects as needed 
  • Review defect and identify any business gaps to work with the product team for additions to backlog
  • Validate and sign off on user stories at the end of each sprint for business validation
  • Support rollout of product to early customer adopters

What you bring to the table:

  • 2 to 4 years in business requirements analysis experience in software development
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in a software as a service or technology organization
  • Experience working in an agile environment and familiar with Scrum methodology
  • Experience and familiar with software development life cycle and know ‘how’ to fit into the environment
  • Experience working within a Scrum team to produce deliverables in compliance to the standard procedures
